The basic idea for this layout is building off of my original snail shell idea combined with my scientific layouts. The section on the left is basically all of the information I want to present about the photos- the swatch color, who took each color, and what is the contents of the photo. The middle pannel is for more specific information about the group of photos selected from the left (selected by swatch color, photo type, or person)-- all the photos of that selected type appear in the middle box. The right box is for the most exact information- the user can see whichever photo they have specifically selected and potentially others that relate to it.
